No sooner had we packed up our cars from Goodwood, we were on the move again to Pebble Beach, California to launch the 12C in North America. The second week in August on the Monterey Peninsula sees one of the most prestigious automotive spectacles in the world. The show comprises several events throughout the week, including premium vehicle auctions, historic motor racing, vehicle unveils and rallies, and it culminates with the 60th anniversary of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
Validation Prototypes 16 and 24, along with a rolling chassis, are on their way to California, where they are expected to be met by discerning American enthusiasts.
The MP4-12C will be on display on the Concept Car Lawn in front of The Lodge at Pebble Beach from noon on Saturday, August 14 and all day Sunday, August 15, and the McLaren team will be on hand to field queries.
