Standard Equipment

    Exterior

  • Crystal antimony grey paint finish (701) from the Colour Chart (other paint finishes from the Colour Chart also available)
  • Air outlets in the bonnet with black grille
  • Painted exposed carbon on air splitter, rear wheel spoilers and rear diffuser
  • Headlamp surrounds in palladium grey
  • Darkened tail-light clusters with palladium grey indicator modules. Third brake light and reversing lights with smoked glass covers
  • "722" insignia on the wings,
  • "SLR" and "McLaren" lettering at the rear end
  • 19-inch light-alloy wheels featuring new, two-tone design: rim spider in palladium grey, rim flange in silver
  • Red-painted brake callipers

    Interior

  • Appealing mix of black Alcantara and leather. Alcantara on the seats, insides of the doors and roof liner
  • Alternatively the familiar Silver Arrow leather can be ordered in the previously available colours
  • Topstitching on the seats, centre console, dashboard and sports steering wheel
  • Badge with "722 Edition" insignia to the rear of the shift lever, "722" insignia on the seat backrests
  • Instrument cluster featuring new, exclusive design, with integral AMG RACETIMER
  • Sports steering wheel trimmed in easy-grip black suede. This material also features on the handbrake lever, the gear knob in the centre console and the inside door handles
  • Red seat belts

    Technical

  • Engine with modified intercooler and engine management, output 478 kW/650 hp
  • Optimised aerodynamics with modified air splitter and new rear wheel spoilers. Together with the new characteristic map for the AIRBRAKE (allowing it to be raised even further), the result is greater downforce, ride stability and braking performance
  • 19-inch light-alloy wheels made of forged aluminium
  • Chassis with more powerful front brakes: disc diameter 390 mm, perforated (previously disc diameter 370 mm, non-perforated)
  • Retuned damping characteristics, body lowered by around 10 mm
  • Weight-optimised footwell flooring with exposed carbon, reduction in soundproofing material.
  • The footwell that features in the standard SLR can also be ordered as a no-cost option
  • CD changer and Mercedes-Benz telephone (Standard) omitted. However, this otherwise standard equipment or the mobile phone pre-installation can be ordered at no extra cost.
